The solid set operation is simple: the field is laid out in a grid pattern at the start of the season using 50mm pipes. Depending on the application, the pipes are made of aluminium or polyethylene. The most common layouts are 18x24m, or 18x18m in windy zones. Each position features a sprinkler, totaling 23 sprinklers per hectare.
For semi-solid sets, the laterals are fixed and installed at the start of the irrigation season. The risers and sprinklers are moved in rows or groups. The valve tee ensures a perfect seal when the riser is removed.
For solid sets, both the laterals and risers remain in place throughout the irrigation season. The lines operate alternately, controlled by small valves at the start of each lateral.

The Riser: A 50cm or 220cm long removable sprinkler support made of extruded aluminium. The riser connects (or disconnects) instantly into the Valve Tee. A ring locks it in place.
The Valve Tee: Made of die-cast aluminium, it allows position changes without shutting down the system. A special internal valve ensures a watertight seal when the riser is removed.
The Stabilizing Base: A 400mm or 800mm base plate that maintains the stability of the assembly.
