Lateral moves

Lateral moves enable you to irrigate all or part of a plot, regardless of its shape.

Used by farmers worldwide, IRRIFRANCE lateral moves are robust and have a long service life. Each IRRIFRANCE lateral move can be adapted to every need and situation.

The advantage of an agricultural lateral move is that it requires significantly less hydraulic energy than a gun: this generates substantial savings during the irrigation season.

Water supply:

Water is supplied via a flexible polyethylene hose of suitable length. Water can also be drawn directly from a canal running along the machine’s path using a suction pump.

Electrical supply:

Power is supplied via a drag cable (380V mains) or an onboard generator.
The RM4/VE and RM 4TD units operate in a back-and-forth cycle, with the ability to pivot at the field ends. This pivoting can be performed internally without water or externally while irrigating.
Dual nozzle packages ensure consistent water application in all situations.
